Howl at the Moon Party
The night of Saturday, October 7th, was one for the books as the River House in Orange Park hosted the much-anticipated "Howl at the Moon" event. This gathering brought together our community for a fantastic cause, and it was a night filled with laughter, music, and generosity.
The event featured diverse activities and offerings to ensure everyone had a memorable time while contributing to a great cause. One of the highlights was the silent auction, where attendees could bid on an array of fabulous items, from unique artwork to luxurious gift baskets.
Another heartwarming aspect of the evening was the pet food collection, where attendees brought bags of food to help furry friends in need. But that's not all; the "Boozehound Raffle" added an element of excitement to the evening. This raffle featured a wagon overflowing with bottles of booze, and a lucky winner walked away with it all.
To commemorate the event, exclusive "Howl at the Moon" t-shirts were available for purchase. These shirts served as a keepsake and a symbol of unity among attendees, united in their commitment to the cause.
No event is complete without delicious food, and "Howl at the Moon" is delivered on that front. G's BBQ generously donated mouthwatering BBQ dinners sold for a mere $10 per plate. Attendees savored every bite, knowing their contribution was making a difference.
The musical talents of Copper Street graced the event with their captivating tunes. They had everyone tapping their feet and dancing the night away, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
But beyond all the fun and festivities, the heart of the event was its mission. "Howl at the Moon" was not just about a great night out but about coming together as a community to raise funds and supplies for a cause. The unity and compassion displayed by everyone in attendance highlighted the true spirit of Clay County.
