Clay Humane Receives BISSELL Pet Foundation Grant

BISSELL Pet Foundation recognizes the lifesaving efforts of animal shelters and rescues of all sizes across the country. Grants will be considered for organizations working to reduce the homeless pet population through: adoption, spay/neuter, microchipping, and foster care.

BISSELL Pet Foundation has awarded Clay Humane $8,000 toward their FREE Spay It Forward program.

Spay It Forward

Every Wednesday, at our vet clinic, is reserved for the first 40 first come, first served, feral cats for FREE sterilization and rabies vaccination. Cats must be in humane traps or carrier. Ear notching is required. Spay It Forward at Clay Humane has fixed, 22,155 cats including 5,673 ferals for FREE. Through grants and your generous donations, we can continue to sterilized even more cats, preventing tens of thousands more in unwanted births. Find out more about Spay It Forward.
