With 2011 quickly coming to a close, we are feeling the weight of meeting the overwhelming needs of our struggling community. As we all navigate through these difficult economic times, the call for help has never been greater. Without assistance, the choice between essential veterinary care and food and shelter for their families becomes a troubling one for many pet owners. Please become a member today!

It's a decision that the Clay County Humane Society strives to prevent pet owners from having to make. Through our low cost clinic and indigent program, we reach out to hundreds of pet friendly families in need. It is our greatest hope - the pinnacle of our mission - to ensure proper care and a humane existence for all of our friends, two and four-legged, wild and domestic, sick and healthy, wealthy or poor.

Unfortunately, we cannot do this alone. The Clay County Humane Society will remain steadfast in our goal of serving the animal welfare needs of the community and will continue to battle the problem of pet overpopulation. Your help is vital. Without you we could not continue our valuable programs and services. Present membership expired July 30, 2011. If you have not already renewed, please renew your membership as soon as possible.

On behalf of the homeless, the injured, and the healthy animals that have walked through our doors and found an answer to their needs because of your loyal support, we offer our heartfelt gratitude.
