Riders Revved Up
At Hogs For Dogs
The Society held its “Hogs for Dogs” Motorcycle Ride on Saturday, March 2, 2013 and not even the chilly weather could deter nearly 100 motorcycle enthusiasts from turning out at Adamec Harley Davidson on Wells Road for the kick off of the fifth annual event. The scenic 125 mile, 3 county ride took participants to stops at Buddy boys Country Store, Haley’s Pub, The Rooster, and Steel Pony before wrapping up with live music, raffle prizes, and a delicious fish dinner at Whitey’s Fish Camp. Cash prizes were also awarded to the winners of the dice roll contest, in which registered participants competed at each stop to roll the highest or lowest dice totals of the day. Everyone took home goodie bags, commemorative tshirts, and the knowledge that their contributions to this fun event would go far in helping the Society maintain its valuable programs in our community.
